Enhanced accessibility for exquisite homes
The latest jewel in Avatar’s crown is our new website for Millgate. Designed to promote the magnificent homes that Millgate are renowned for, the site takes full advantage of the stunning photography of these aspirational properties. Elegant and streamlined, we are particularly proud of the way it conveys the quality and attention to detail inherent in every Millgate home.
Behind the scenes, however, the challenge was to include a raft of technology within this effortlessly sophisticated site to ensure that it works across all platforms. This technology makes the site exceptionally easy to use, offering enhanced accessibility to mobile users. In fact, Millgate’s new site says just as much about Avatar’s technical and design skills as it does about the developer themselves: a perfect combination of engineering and aesthetics! www.millgatehomes.co.uk

Avatar takes F1 to the world
Avatar is once again proving its expertise in IT industry marketing, by producing new corporate collateral to promote F1 Consultancy in the US. One of our most recent new clients, F1 is a world-leader in managing and installing the highly sophisticated IT equipment needed for large scale events, also providing IT consultancy and Cloud services to their many clients. Keen to spread their wings in the US, the company commissioned Avatar to produce an updateable brochure, that would sell their services to large corporations.
We designed a very simple, yet instantly striking solution that included photography and illustration. Responding to F1’s need for flexibility, we suggested a metal cover binding for the brochure, which not only enhanced the stylish appearance of the give-away but also provides a natural fit with the state-of-the-art tech industry. The good news is that F1 Consultancy has been so successful in the US that it has paid for itself already – in a matter of a few months! View more portfolio images here.

New streamlined website for sophisticated interior designer
Avatar have just completed a new website for LM Designs, a rising star in the world of interior design. Headed up by Lani-Marie Bhoyroo, who already had an extensive career in luxury showhome design, LM Designs offers cutting edge design to discerning private clients and premium property developers.
Taking inspiration from the sophisticated contemporary interiors that LM Designs specialises in, Avatar created an elegantly simple framework around beautiful photography, and developed an easy to use content management system that would help the business to grow. As part of the service, we have also built in a news feed, which Lani can use when she’s ready, ensuring the design has longevity and accessibility... as well as an understated sense of style! How do you sell freedom?
Avatar recently redesigned the website for IT system supreme SIRE, using inspirational imagery that relates to freedom to highlight the benefits of not having to worry about your company’s technology issues. SIRE wanted to convey how their expertise in leading-edge IT systems and processes means they can deliver efficiencies that make real differences to how businesses function, so their clients can realise the full potential of their operation, while providing total assurance that all vital systems and critical data are fully protected against any eventuality.
The stunning – and surprising – imagery is set within a deceptively simple structure, designed specifically to appeal to businesses who want to “make the best use of technology to facilitate a competitive advantage”. www.sire.co.uk

A summer well worth celebrating
Specialist marquee hire provider of choice Berry Marquees have been having a fabulous summer. Business has been booming: not only did they supply the marquees at Somerset House for their summer season, provide the structures at the Farnborough Air Show, been working at the Royal Academy, Kensington Palace, Lancaster House and the Houses of Parliament (they even had the PM himself as a guest in one of their marquees) and been spotted at the Jubilee Concert, but they are also just recovering from installing marquees all over London as part of London Fashion Week.
While Avatar Creative can’t claim all the credit – have you seen the marquees these guys put up? – apparently the new website we designed for Berry has already been paying its way. The clean, professional format, with big images to convey Berry’s incredible creativity and attention to detail have obviously worked, with interest up a massive 40% since the website was launched beginning of 2012! When the boys get a break from their hectic schedule, we’ll perhaps get a chance to celebrate... www.berrymarquees.com

More for Millgate
We’ve just finished the marketing for two new sites for Millgate Homes, this time in Wentworth and Sunninghill. There were three exceptional properties on offer here, one on the Wentworth site, September House, and two in Sunninghill, Pinewood and Braydene: once again, their design, quality, attention to detail – and sheer scale – made our jaw drop (oh how we love site visits with Millgate!). It was a real joy to create brand identities for these properties, design brochures, html invites and mailers and create agents displays.

Designing the jewel in the crown
St James Park at Long Ditton, Surrey, was possibly housebuilder St James’ most important development ever – St James was formed in a partnership between Berkeley Homes and Thames Water specifically to develop this key site.
Twelve years on, and with an array of exceptional regeneration and new build projects under their belt, who do St James choose to market the final phase of their flagship site? Avatar were delighted to learn that they would be designing the marketing collateral for St James Park Mews, the long-awaited conclusion to the development. With its own private gated entrance, this new collection of homes has a quite unique sense of place while still reflecting the spirit of the original St James Park.
Working with the sales and marketing team, Avatar designed the brochure, hoarding, displays and teaser mailers and produced a video for the site.

Avatar are continuing to make an impact in the property sector – only this time, it’s not for a developer, it’s for one of the best-known estate agencies in Berkshire. Against stiff competition, the team recently won a pitch to develop the Campsie brand, which has four offices in Windsor, Staines, West Drayton and Slough.
Avatar will now be fine-tuning Campsie’s logo to reflect the company’s three separate divisions, sales, lettings and property consultants (commercial), rolling that out across all marketing collateral, developing brand guidelines and creating and implementing new marketing campaigns for each division as required.

Avatar Creative is the key to success
When major pan-European telecommunications company Colt were heading off to an important exhibition in Nice, Datacentres 2011, they asked Avatar Creative to come up with an eye-catching and useful giveaway for visitors to their stand.
While we came up with several alternatives, the option Colt’s marketing team were most excited by was our USB stick in the shape of key, which was loaded with information about the exhibition and Colt’s stand. While this would instantly remind visitors to the stand of what Colt were promoting during the exhibition, the fact that the key was reuseable ensured that it would act as a valuable aide memoire long after the exhibition was over. That we had attached a Colt branded keyring to the USB key only strengthened the giveaway’s effectiveness. 500 of the USB keys and keyrings were supplied and delivered straight to Nice by the manufacturer. Sadly, the Buster and Millie (or any of the rest of us, for that matter) didn’t get to make the trip!
